Vocal coach and monster sound designer Marcus Delano was creating creature vocalizations when someone asked: "What if Chuck Norris could roar like Godzilla?" He spent three weeks perfecting that roar. He played it for colleagues. They all had the same reaction: "Play something else." He did. He never played that roar again. He doesn't know where the recording is anymore. He's unsure if it was ever real.

This is about dominance through imitation: Godzilla is killed not by violence but by hearing its own power reflected and surpassed. Chuck Norris doesn't fight Godzilla; he replaces it. His roar doesn't just match the creature's; it supersedes it. The kaiju is killed by the realization that something more fearsome exists in the form of a man who can steal its voice.
